As English, French and Spanish, you have 6 basic question words. Learning them, helps you master the basics of German and hold simple conversations.
Note: Sometimes English native speakers confuse ‘Wer?’ and ‘Wo?’ since they are so close to Where? and Who? – Here is a suggestion: If your English sentence has the question word ‘Where?’, it needs to be the opposite in the German translation being ‘Wo?’ (sounding similar to the English ‘Who?’). The same counts for “Who?’, which has to sound in German like the English ‘Where’, and need to translated then to ‘Wer?’.
